The long way home

As the time to go back approached, we realised more and more what an amazing experience this was, and how lucky we were to spend some time in paradise. We started talking about it one evening – about how we didn’t want to go back to our real lives, and we joked about how we should call our project “screw the real life”. But the more we talked the more we  asked ourselves: what is the real life? Because it somehow felt like the real life was not the one back home waiting for us, but rather the life that we want to live. And that’s how the RealLifeProject was born – we decided that the life we wanted for us was the real one. (i thought you might like to know :-) )

  1. Chris and Vicky,
Thanks for sharing these great photos and stories. I’m really rooting for you both to make the Real Life Project work. I made a decision many years ago to follow my dreams allowing me to work and play in some great places. Just think how much better adjusted, peaceful and happy the world would be if more people followed your lead.

Keep posting. Hard choices finding the ONE place in Greece to site your ecolodge. It all looks amazing.

      Hi Doug,
Nice to hear from you! It’s not going to be an easy journey, but it’s definitely going to be challenging, fun and something we are both passionate about. You’re right about finding just one place in Greece – there are so many potential options. We’re slowly starting to narrow them down though!
Take care – we’re looking forward to hosting you one day soon :).
